Carved Walking Sticks
The stick is very nice, attractive, well-made, and very light for easy carrying. When I first received it, however, it was missing the rubber cap or tip that covers the spike at the end when wanted or needed. I contacted the seller about this, and they could not have been nicer or more professional about it. This without having to return the first one! And then they followed up again to make sure that I was satisfied. Many others could take a lesson on superior service and and concern for the satisifaction of their customers from these nice folks.

Most of our wood walking sticks are naturally harvested all the way from the nearby woods of eastern Texas, all the way to the Appalachian Mountains of upstate New York. Before each walking stick is made, the raw wood blank is carefully inspected for hidden flaws that might affect the structural integrity of the shaft. Only the raw blanks that show the highest strength are chosen for use in the best hiking and walking sticks. After the structural inspection, the raw wood blank is shaped on a lathe or a sander depending on the style of the stick.
Most of our wooden walking sticks for hiking have handles shaped directly from the wood blank. After it's shaped and sanded, the wooden walking stick is ready for the finish. Depending on the style of walking stick, a clear or tinted finish is applied.
