Screen went black after changing to Hz.144Hz Monitor stuck at 120Hz! FIX
WoW not working in Hz? Hi there, I've never really been into much hardware so please forgive any ignorance in advance. My desktop settings are set as Hz, the in-game settings are set to the same setting and the FPS is unrestricted, I've tried turning off vsync in-game and forcing it off in my GPU settings, I've even pressed around on the monitor buttons and enabled Hz. As far as I can tell it works just fine in other games like Overwatch and Battlefield 1.
So does anyone have any experience with how to solve this? I have multiple monitors but only this one runs on Hz, could that be the problem? Thanks in advance for any tips or suggestions. Reply With Quote. Its probably working but you just cant tell in an MMO. I suggest you try using ULMB or whatever strobing implementation that monitor has instead of gsync for WoW, then you should be able to notice the hz a lot easier. There are dropdown options that let you select fullscreen refresh rate and resolution in the graphics menu and they default to 60hz for me.

Explained simply, phosphor material is deposited onto a layer of plastic or glass, which goes between the backlight and the thin-film transistor TFT or LCD pixel layer. While quantum dots emit red and green light when excited by a blue LED, extending the gamut volume of those primaries, KDF phosphors work with white light and emit red and green.
The power supply is a large external brick. The base and upright are mated with a captive bolt and then snapped onto the panel. No tools required. The 34GKF is all-business from the front with a thin, flush-mounted bezel and all-black base and stand. The anti-glare layer is 3H hardness and provides the same reflection control as nearly every computer monitor available today.
There is no grain to detract from its sharp, bright image. The stand is wobble-free and offers mm of height adjustment range, along with degree swivel in each direction and degree and 5-degree back and forward tilt, respectively. Like all curved screens, the side profile is a bit chunky but nicely proportioned. Stability will not be an issue.
Video inputs include two HDMI 2. You also get one upstream and two downstream USB 3. There are no speakers, but headphone users can plug their favorite cans into the 3. The OSD is appropriately styled for gaming with a deep red and black color scheme.
Options are evenly split into five sub-menus. Calibration is possible in most modes with four gamma presets and four color temp modes. You can adjust the RGB sliders in the Custom slot.
Gaming options are many and include FreeSync 2, along with three overdrive levels, a selection of aiming points and blur reduction. If you want to increase visibility in shadowy areas, reach for the black stabilizer slider.Menu Menu. Search Everywhere Threads This forum This thread. Search titles only. Search Advanced search…. I have stopped the blackouts completely by making a custom resolution at hz for my GTX Go into the Nvidia Control Panel and set a "custom resolution" at hz make sure you have the latest driver for both the card and monitor. The SDGF can handle that resolution just fine, it only chokes up the GeForce when you leave it at the default hz that this amazing monitor can blast.

We're sorry for the inconvenience. April 3 in Monitors. I recently purchased this monitor about one month ago. The monitor will work fine but black out randomly for a few seconds at a time with audio still working.
I have found that this only happens when the monitor or its applications are running at hz. When set to say 60hz or 75hz the monitor will work fine but at hz it will not. This is extremely frustrating as I bought this monitor specifically for gaming at hz but can not use it. In FPS games such as CS, for example, the monitor will go black for seconds rendering me completely blind which is a definite deal-breaker. Otherwise I love this monitor and hope that this problem can be resolved.
No display signal in Windows at 144hz
I really do not want to go through the hassle of refunding this monitor, but as it stands, I can not use it for the sole purpose in which I purchased it.
Any help would be appreciated in troubleshooting my issue. Thank you. April 5. If you are using an AMD graphics card, try turning off virtual super resolution. Mas estou aqui para ajudar! I'm not the cortana! But I'm here to help!
